x=y is a straight line, slope = 1, a diagonal line with angle 45 degrees with the x axis, through the origin (0,0)
y=x-15 is a line parallel to x=y, with the same slope =1 but with a y intercept of -15 instead of 0
y intercept is (0,-15)
the two lines never intersect. So, there is no solution if these two equations are the linear system
-x =3y = 10 is probably a typo where you meant to hit - but instead got +
so, it's either -x-3y = 10 or -x=3y - 10
if the latter, then 3y=-x +10
y = -x/3 +10/3 has slope =-1/3, downward sloping line with y intercept = 10/3 = 3 1/3
It intersects the two parallel lines. intersecting y=x at (2.5, 2.5)
and intersecting y=x -15 at (-27.5, 12.5)
