During a triathlon, Shron swims 1/4 of the total route and cycles 3/5 of the remaining route. She runs the rest of the route. If she runs 3,600 meters, find the total distance of the triathlon route.

1/4 + 3/5 = 5/20 + 12/20 = 17/20

 

therefore she runs 3/20 of the route

 

(3/20)x = 3600 m

 

x = (20/3)(3600) = 24000m = 24 km
