Convert to base 10

I do need help on this one.

 

Convert 101101(base2) back to base 10

1 x 32 + 1 x 8 + 1 x 4 + 1 = 32 + 8 + 4 + 1 = 45

Converting back to base 10 is the easier of the 2 problems. just put the column headings. You have 6 digits so you need 6 column headings.

2^5      2^4    2^3   2^2   2^1   2^0

1             0        1         1     0         1

 

So you have 1*32 +0*16 +1*8 +1*4 + 0*2 +1*1 = 32+8+4+1 =45.

 

By the way, if you're just checking your answer, please word it as      I got an answer of 6120....Is this correct. Otherwise it just looks like we're doing your homework for you. Thanks.
