The point is to get a way to compare these prices. The way to do it is to get the cost per oz. for each situation. So a unit rate of cost per oz. takes the cost and divides it by the number of oz. $1.56/16 oz. gives a unit cost of $.0975/oz. Do this with all situations, and find the one which has the least cost/oz.
