I have been looking online all over this place for similar examples and I am completely stuck please help me!

Solve using the square root property x^2-12x=14

Then the equation can be written as:

x² - 12x + 36 -14 - 36=0

(x-6)² - 50 = 0

(x-6)² = 50

x- 6 = √50 = 5√2

x= 5√2 + 6

x1 = 13.07

x2 =-1.07
