I need help trying to figure out this word problem on aleks saying The perimeter of a square painting is 260 centimeters. How long is each side? However i really need help solving this question

Therefore, a square has 4 sides with identical lengths. If we call the side of each length "X", then 4X must equal 260 centimeters.

 

                                       4X = 260  equation we need to solve

                                       X = 260/4 divide both sides by 4

                                       X = 65  solve

Therefore, the length of each side is 65 centimeters.
