Sorry about this but the scenario I want to work out is:
Smiling Mark’s Alfa Romeo dealership purchased one of its most popular sports car models for 37,500 Euros. The FX rate for the Euro was .65 Euros per dollar at the time of purchase, but then rose to .72 Euros by the time payment was made. What was Smiling Mark’s gain or loss on the change in rates?
How would I go about working this out, I can't seem to break down what I need to do here and it's really bothering me if possible can you type in instructions on how you did this so I can study it myself and apply it to other questions?
Edit: Ok so I don't know how to post responses so i'm editing here, anyways so:
37500 / 0.65 = $57692.307 rounded to 57692.31
37500 / 0.75 = $50000 at time of payment
What should I do from here, sorry I'm still confused so I'd like it if youre able to help me break this down.
