how do i answer 5m-7+3m=19+7m without using transposition?

1.  Simplify both sides

 

 

  5m - 7 = 19 + 7m

 

2 . Transposition and adding same quantity to both sides of equation are equivalent.

 

      5m - 7m = 19 + 7

 

 3.   -2m = 26

 

 4.  m = -26/2 = - 13
