Can I apply early decision to a college with a score, and still take the October 7th SAT? If I score higher, can it be superscored?

I am applying to a college early decision because I know that this school is the one I want to go to. I have a 1230 (640 Reading and 590 Math). My Reading score is fine for the college, but my math score is not high enough. I know the chances of me getting in are higher with Early Decision, but I am still nervous I won't get in. I have registered to take the October SAT (Oct. 7), but I am applying early acceptance. Can I still apply early decision, send in my 1230, and send them the October SAT when it becomes available?

You need to take this up with the admissions office of the college you are applying to.  The personnel in that office should know the admissions policies.
