I think your equations are
asecΘ = 1-btanΘ
a2sec2 Θ = 5+b2tan2Θ
You can use the identity tan2 Θ + 1 = sec 2Θ and you can replace in the second equation
it becomes a2(tan2 Θ+1) = 5 + b2tan2 Θ
a2tan2 Θ - b2tan2 Θ = 5 - a^2
tan2 Θ ( a2-b2) = 5-a2
tan Θ = (5-a2)/(a2-b2)
Θ = tan -1 [ (5-a2)/(a2 - b2)
You can now substitute this into the first equation
