1.  f:    x-------------------> Φ=f(x) like temperature

2.  f:    x-------------------> V=f(X) like air velocity

but

3.  f:    x, y, z-------------> ?=f(x,y,z) is there a meaning in such a fuction

 

4. The concept of tensor have to do something with the third question

As currently stated in the problem, f(x,y,z) is a scalar function of the three scalar variables x, y, and z.  What is your question?
