Similes and metaphors are forms of comparison. Similes usually include use of the word "like" or "as." Personification involves the assignment of human qualities to inanimate objects or abstract quantities. Onomatopoeia is the use of a word to mimic the sound of the object being described. Hyperbole is a form of exaggeration, so I think this sentence is an example of hyperbole.
