Let θ = tan^-1(1/3).  You want tan^-1(2θ).

 

Let β = tan-¹(2θ), i.e.  tan β  =2θ; a peculiar kind of problem but it can be done decimally, using calculator in radian mode.

 

θ = 0.0256354 so β = inverse tan (0.05127...)

= 0.051226
