To find the average value of a function f(x) on a closed interval [a, b], find the following:

 

1/(b - a) ∫_a^b f(x) dx  (The _ denoted the lower limit of integration; the ^ the upper limit.)

 

The answer is related to the previous question I just answered. If you take the correct answer to that question, and multiply it by 1/π, you should get the correct answer to this one.
