A Middle/High School Student Handbook often contains information about various policies, such as the following, in no particular order:

dress code, discipline policy (teacher assigned detention, office detention, in-school suspension, out of school suspension, expulsion), what you must wear in physical education class, number of credits needed to graduate, parking policy, locker usage, locker room usage, how much time you have between classes, bell schedule, library, attendance policy, guidance office and class scheduling, report cards, lunch and cafeteria info, extracurricular and sports info, bus schedules and bus safety, use of electronics.
