Al(OH)3 + 3HCl ----> AlCl3 + 3H2O
From this equation we know then that for each 3 mol of HCl we need 1 mol of Al(OH)3 ... Hence by applying a factor we would say if 1 mol Al(OH)3 is equivalent to 1 mol HCl then X is equivalent to 0.75 mol of HCl....
x = (0.75 x 1)/3 = 1/4 = 0.25 mol of Aluminum hydroxide.
