It’s time to show off your creativity! The goal of this project is to demonstrate your knowledge of exponential and logarithmic equations. You may do this by writing a song or poem, making a video or audio recording, constructing a game, or designing a visual presentation such as a flowchart or PowerPoint. You must demonstrate all of the following concepts:

Graphing Exponential Functions
Graphing Logarithmic Functions
Solving Exponential Equations
Solving Logarithmic Equations
Properties of Logarithms
Product Property
Quotient Property
Power Property
Present the material as if you were teaching another student (or the class) each of these topics. Your presentation must be unique.

This seems like a fun project! My suggestion to you is to figure out what type of presentation you would like to do. Do you like singing? ... or do you like to use PowerPoints? Questions like this will narrow it down.

 

Be sure to explain topics such as the parent functions of exponential and logarithmic functions, and all of the rules associated with the two types of functions. Your textbook and notes from class would be a great resource for this. Especially because this project is basically asking you to teach someone else these skills, the textbook has many great examples on how to do this!
