I have extensive experience with the Unreal Engine 4/5 pipeline, particularly for game development. Over the past six years, I have worked intensively in AR/VR, serving as an Art Director for VR environments and games.

My preferred tools include 3ds Max for modeling, rigging, and animating, alongside Unreal Engine 5. For texturing, I specialize in Substance Painter/Designer and Photoshop, and I'm proficient in all PBR workflows. For detailed sculpting, I rely on ZBrush.

Despite my expertise in 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and Substance programs, I noticed they aren't listed for tutoring. With 12 years of industry experience, including 10 years as an Art Director, I’ve led numerous projects for top-tier companies like Cisco, HP, and Disney.

I manage rigging using both Unreal Engine and 3D Max, tailored to the project's needs. For mechanical assets, I prefer 3D Max due to its efficiency. When working with organic models, I typically use Unreal Engine, unless morph targets are involved, which I find easier to handle in 3D Max. Once rigging is complete, I create and refine animations in Unreal Engine's Sequencer, baking them down as necessary for optimal performance.

Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.

Jacob and I have been working through some animation pipeline issues I’ve been having using Unreal Engine and Rokoko Motion Capture. At this point we have conducted three 1 hour sessions. Jacob was able to talk me through a process that now works for me. For past sessions he has done research on his own time for any topics he didn’t feel completely sure about. I am so happy to have Jacob as a training resource/mentor in the future. I’ve learned more in 3 hours with Jacob than I did in months working on my own.
