To finance my studies, I spent my summers and much of my spring commercial fishing in Alaska. It was during these demanding days at sea that I also prepared for the LSAT. I faced challenges, including two unsuccessful attempts to take the exam in a remote Alaskan fishing town, where I lost power during the final section both times. However, I remained determined, and on my third attempt, I finally earned a score of 177 on the November 2020 exam. What could have been frustrating became an opportunity to sharpen my skills and manage the fatigue many students experience.
I am currently a law student at Washington University in St. Louis, and I bring valuable experience from working with a major LSAT test prep company. In this role, I tutored students, led live classes, wrote answer explanations for official prep test questions, and crafted new approaches to the company’s curriculum.
