Hello there, I’m Eddie! I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with Cum Laude in Geological Sciences, and minored in Geography. While attending University, I realized I wanted to become a teacher because of the professors I had. My professors made me feel included in class discussions, lab events, and field trips. They helped me find my worth in this world. I now share that gift with the future generation. I foster a love of learning and curiosity. Making students feel important and engaged is my forte. Through my teaching and academic career I know that every student learns differently. I’m adept at being able to bring out the best in students no matter their learning styles.

I’ve been teaching for 2 years and started out as a substitute teacher and then a Long-term substitute teacher for High School Pre-calculus (9th-12th grade). I designed and created presentations, tests, exams, quizzes and homework assignments. I held office hours to help students who needed extra help or needed to catch-up on work they missed. I also pride myself on being available to students for emotional support. Now I teach middle school science (5th-8th grade) and cover Ecosystems, Material Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Matter, and more!
