Hi there! My name is Bethany and I am excited to help you with your tutoring needs! I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience and a minor in English. I am currently working towards my Masters in Geology where I am a teaching assistant for various undergraduate courses. I can help you with your earth science, environmental science/studies, and geoscience coursework at the middle school, high school, or college level.

My current thesis research is on finding sustainable alternatives to water supply security in Yakima, Washington through groundwater storage enhancement. As an undergraduate, I did research on the water quality of the Finger Lakes, including harmful algae blooms studies. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels I have been a teaching assistant in addition to helping students here on Wyzant with their geology coursework.

I can also assist in English, writing, and creative writing. In addition to my undergraduate coursework in English, I studied under renowned author Lidia Yuknavitch and I am currently working on my own pieces for future publication.

Note: I am a certified yoga instructor at the 200-hour level, but am not currently taking yoga students since I do not have a good physical space for teaching.
