I hold a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Western Washington University (graduated December 2024) and will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Economics at Washington State University starting Fall 2025. My academic work has centered around economic modeling, data analysis, and applied statistics, all of which are highly relevant to tutoring students in economics, math, and related subjects.

I have informal tutoring experience working one-on-one with peers throughout my undergraduate years, particularly in introductory and intermediate economics courses, applied statistics, and environmental policy. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into accessible components and reinforcing understanding through real-world examples. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of each student—whether they benefit more from visual aids, hands-on problem solving, or conceptual discussions. I also regularly review and explain assignments, guide students through difficult material, and help build their confidence by identifying their individual learning strengths.

Beyond academics, I have experience explaining technical information to broad audiences through my personal business, where I analyze and interpret large datasets and trends. This has sharpened my ability to communicate clearly and patiently, which is critical when tutoring students at different academic levels. I have worked with students ranging from late high school to undergraduate level, and I am eager to continue helping learners achieve academic success in a supportive, tailored environment.
