I am currently only tutoring using the Wyzant online classroom tool. I have been tutoring online in some capacity for 15 of the last 20 years, and as my primary occupation for the last 7 years. I am currently only tutoring using the Wyzant online classroom tool. I have been tutoring online in some capacity for 15 of the last 20 years, and as my primary occupation for the last 7 years. Please be sure to check out the information in my profile prior to contacting so that you know exactly what I offer as a tutor to ensure we can be a great match!

I primarily help my students with their homework, textbook, or review problems during a session. Usually, we work through the problems together. I can find problems from digital textbooks at the start of a session to solve as a means to teach you how to do the problems, or we can work on them together. I won’t help with any active/practice quiz, test, exam, or timed assignment. I can provide help for Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1/2, AP Calculus, and any intro level Physics class (conceptual, algebra-based, AP, and calculus-based).

If you are interested in this type of help, feel free to send a message to schedule a session for a future day. Please tell me specifically what you would like to do during a session. For instance, "I'd like to work on a few of the older AP Physics 1 free response questions from the AP website with you. I'd like to schedule a session a couple days from now, in the early evening, if possible." The more lead time that you give me for a session, the better of a chance that I'll be able to fit you in for a session. Same day sessions can be quite difficult to accommodate. My given availability is a general availability, and some of the times may have been already taken by other students. Fri/Sat may be available if I don’t have plans for the weekend.

Cancellation Fees - Same day cancellation is a fee equal to half of the scheduled session. No shows, your directive to charge for the session, or cancelling after the session start time is a fee equal to the session. I also charge a full cancellation fee if I have to cancel a session because you chose to violate Wyzant TOS (ie, you want to work on a test or quiz in a scheduled session).

I was struggling in my AP Calculus class, not able to understand some concepts and do problems that revolves around them. I’m just a few lessons Charles not only made these concepts extremely clear to me, but also helped me understand how to solve some of the most common problems with simple explanations. he is very efficient and open for any clarifications and further explanations. cannot recommend him more!

After a year and a half of virtual learning, my daughter had lost all confidence in her math abilities.
