Hi, I'm Saagar! Congratulations on taking the first step in your academic journey to improving on either the MCAT or in one of your science/math courses! Acknowledging that you need an extra hand is the first step in truly becoming a more successful student. I hope that I can be that extra hand for you!

I am an incoming medical student, and I scored a 524 on the MCAT (100th percentile). I am about to graduate summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a 3.97 GPA and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. As an engineering and premedical student, I have taken numerous opportunities to meet with teaching assistants and upperclassmen tutors. I know that a teacher and mentor can make a huge difference. The caring and compassionate atmosphere as well as the guidance through obstacles have shown me how I can be a tutor for others.

Throughout both high school and college, I have served as a tutor for other students. In high school, I tutored for AB and BC Calculus. During college, I have had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for Cell Biology and a tutor for Applied Physiology. With a solid background in math and science tutoring, I am prepared to tutor a wide variety of STEM courses on top of helping students prepare for the MCAT Exam. I am also a member of a student organization (Personalized Exploration for College Success) where I serve as a mentor for high school students. Through this experience, I help students grow as writers and improve their college and scholarship essays. With expertise in the college and medical school application process, I am also capable of helping my students with more than just test prep. On top of being qualified to tutor for the MCAT, I can provide coaching for both college and medical school admissions.
