Additionally, I have focused on International Business, Management and Project Development. I am a certified Project Manager (PMP) and hold an MBA degree. I have experience as an instructor in Management as well as Information Technology subjects.

As an Adjunct Professor at the American University in Dubai, I taught Human Resource Management and Business Ethics. While a resident of Virginia I taught Information Technology at the Chesterfield Community College.

On the professional side I have over 20 years of management involvement Project Management for the start-up and operation of international projects.

My MBA degree in Human Resources has given me the academic credentials to help people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Also, my experience of completing overseas assignments provided me with on-the-ground exposure of interfacing with people of diverse backgrounds and the ability to help them grow professionally and academically.

My background also includes a number of years serving as a Board Member of American Business Council of Dubai which has the goal of expanding American Business interests in the Middle East. I have authored a series of Management Articles which were published throughout the region.

I have over 30 years as a manager supervising teams of programmers and analysts, projects and working with end users and customers.

I hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. This entailed at least five years of project management experience and an extensive written exam. I hold an MBA degree from the City University of New York. My major was "The Management of Human Resources." I have managed projects in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, India and Romania. These projects included Financial Accounting, Payroll and Human Resources, Engineering Maintenance, Container Terminal Operations, and Harbor Control Systems. These were high value projects, many of which exceeded US$1,000,000 in software of programming effort. I supervised IT staffs of 20+ people and was responsible for two large data centers. As the manager, my projects included implementing over 100 KM of networking installed in 40 buildings, developing operating procedures and monitoring techniques for the data centers and guaranteeing up-time of at least 99.99%. For three years I served as an Adjunct Professor of Information Technology at the John Tyler Community College in Chester, Virginia.

I was quite successful in this job. As a Systems Designer and Manager I was often required to present proposals and designs using PowerPoint or other tools to Users unaccustomed to new concepts.
