I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and have spent the past nine years teaching a wide range of subjects including Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Personal Finance, Algebra 1, Algebra Functions and Data Analysis, and Computer Science. I’ve taught students in grades 6 through 12 in both classroom and one-on-one settings, with four of those years in a virtual learning environment. I also have two years of dedicated tutoring experience in Algebra Functions and Data Analysis. My instructional style is hands-on and focused on real-world applications, helping students connect abstract concepts to everyday situations.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and education levels. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles, whether a student needs extra support or is ready for enrichment. In addition to my academic teaching, I serve as a high school football coach, which has helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills. I bring these qualities into my tutoring sessions, working to build trust and encourage students to stay engaged and persistent in their learning.

Above all, I emphasize a growth mindset. I encourage students not to be afraid of failure, but to see it as part of the learning process. Through guided problem-solving and consistent support, we work together to understand the material and build confidence. My combination of academic expertise, experience with diverse learners, and supportive coaching style uniquely positions me to help students succeed in math—from elementary levels through Algebra and beyond. I am looking forward to my time working with you all and we can continue to learn and grow together.
