“**Knowledgeable and Patient tutor**”

If you want A+ work in any subject with the word Algebra attached, then you’ve come to the right tutor! I’ve been tutoring junior high, high school and college level math and science courses for years! I have a BS in Physics and have completed and earned A+ marks in math’s as high as Calculus III (Yes that’s 1, 2, 3)! But that was years ago, now I

Andre is a very patient tutor with a great personality. He is able to engage my child which is important when dealing with teenagers!!! He is also well versed in the subject matter.

The tutor provided my niece with a great tutoring experience. After the tutoring my niece was more confident in taking the Algebra SOL. He answered all her questions she had concerns about.

He helped me improve my math and test taking skills. I like the way Andre knew how to work through the problem and understanding what problems I struggled with. He also helped me understand my weakness in some problems.

Andre tutored my daughter on ACT Math. His teaching method is excellent. He knows the material and comes prepared. As a result, my daughter now feels confident and should score well on the test.

Andrea is a great tutor. He has developed a connection with my son that has helped him in and out of the classroom. My son has stated that he likes how Andrea breaks the problems down where he can understand it.I want to thank Andrea for all the hard work he has done with Nathan, he has differently been a positive influence in his life in a short amount of time he's spent with him and I thank you.

Great tutor! Enjoyed working with him. Very patient with me. Looking forward to future sessions. Very polite and on time.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

The math portion of the ACT covers PreAlgebra, Algebra, Geometry and a bit of Trigonometry. These are all subjects of which I'm qualified to tutor and actually tutor already. I especially excelled in the ACT math portion when taking it to get into American University!

I’ve been tutoring junior high, high school and college level math and science courses for years! I have a BS in Physics and have completed and earned A+ marks in math’s as high as Calculus III while a college undergrad at American University.

In the process of earning grades for math courses that advanced, I aced courses such as Algebra 2 while in high school and had to continue using those concepts as I progressed to more challenging courses. I feel I'm more than qualified to tutor this subject.

I feel I'm extremely qualified to tutor and train prospective athletes in basketball not only because I've trained athletes before, but because I have the experience of playing Division I basketball in college and professional basketball in the NBA D-League since graduating college. I've worked with players in every position on the court. I played guard throughout my entire career and train guards to become better ball handlers and shooters. I've also trained forwards and centers to expand their game to be able to do things guards do while also teaching post moves and fundamental footwork required to play at the highest levels. I still do my own personal training daily and would love to share and teach the things I do with prospective athletes.

Though most of my work has been with junior high students and above, I have also worked with elementary students in their troubles with basic math.

I passed Geometry with flying colors and continue to tutor that subject currently as I find most high school students that struggle with math, struggle with Geometry most!

In the process of earning grades for math courses that advanced, I've had to take and ace every possible math course that is involved with the GRE. There isn't a subject and/or question included in the GRE that I'm not familiar with.

It all started with Pre-Algebra; the pre-requisite into my favorite math subject of all, Algebra. I feel the most confident in my ability to help students in this field of math more-so than any other.

Back when I took the SAT before entering college, I scored in the 700's (out of a possible 800pts) in the math section of the test (back then the highest score was 1600). And though the scoring system has changed, I'm still proficient and have helped others with their SAT prep so I'm filled I'm qualified to tutor in this area as well!

I had to take courses such as Trigonometry where concepts like SOH CAH TOA were still very much important in the math's that follow. It's not my primary field of expertise in tutoring, yet I am still very qualified to tutor in this field. Mastering the Trig identities of sin, cos, tan, sec, csc and cot are key!
