As the older sister of three siblings—a sister in high school, a brother in middle school, and a sister in elementary school—I have spent years teaching all subjects at all schooling levels. I understand that every student learns differently, and I am willing to cater to their needs!
I have taken many Psychology classes in both high school and college, with exceptional grades in courses ranging from AP Psychology to General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, and more! Psychology can be a lot of information; however, I can break it down into easy-to-understand concepts, and I am always open to answering as many questions as needed!
Although I am familiar with all math up to Calculus, I specialize in teaching pre-algebra and Algebra. Algebra and pre-algebra can be challenging since they are new concepts for students. However, with practice and a little bit of encouragement, building a strong foundation will help students expand their skills needed for future math courses!
In terms of writing, I understand the struggles it takes to reflect on feedback given by your instructor, and the difficulty of creating flow in writing. However, I would love to teach students the importance of creating a storyline in their writing, structuring it, and making the process as enjoyable as possible!
Overall, I hope to provide sessions that are not only helpful for the students and parents but also interactive and tailored to each student's needs!
