Patient and Knowledgeable Chemistry and Math Tutor

My name is Chris. I am a rising senior and am close to completing my bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I am a very diligent with my work and have always done my utmost to succeed. As such, I have maintained a high GPA and made the dean's list for my college every semester so far. I have a lot of fresh knowledge and experiences from my undergraduate coursework and labs. I find chemistry very interesting and have enjoyed many of the chemistry-related classes I have taken. Many of my professors have been incredible and were always willing to answer my inquiries. I aspire to pursue teaching as a career and to follow in my professor's footsteps by helping others understand chemistry as well as, if not better than, I do. I have taken many chemistry courses for my undergraduate degree and have done very well in all of my chemistry-related courses. In particular, I believe my comprehension of general chemistry is quite strong and, as such, I believe I am more than capable of tutoring general chemistry. I also tutor various math subjects as can be seen on my profile.

I have a semester's experience in tutoring my peers under one of my College's tutoring programs. Although the program allowed for group sessions, I have only tutored 1-on-1 thus far. From what I could tell, the peers I tutored benefitted from my support and I intend to continue helping in this manner. I am typically direct in my tutoring methods and do my best to explain the topics as comprehensively as possible. I am flexible in my methods though, and am willing to adapt to individual student needs. I am always willing to meet and help people to better comprehend chemistry.
