Hi and thanks for taking time to read my bio. I have always had a passion for helping others, but never went into teaching. I have seen how important it was to gain those skills early on and have been able to apply them through my daily life.

I look forward in working with you to reach you goals. I have stayed in the judging pool for judging state and regional qualifying tournaments for debate. I believe that learning to see both sides of any issue can be important at any age as well as learning to communicate effectively. I have seen this trait help me in interviews and building daily relationships.

My tutoring approach will be patient, motivational, and structured. We will communicate frequently on how things are going and what you feel you are gaining from the experience. I have helped train others in all departments I have worked in and changed my version of success over time due to learning and growing over time. I believe I would be a great tutor due to being able to apply true life experiences along with being advised and complimented over time on mentoring new workers in my departments at work. I believe due to my experience with writing, public speaking, and career development that I can assist a range of age groups from younger students to adults depending on what they are looking to achieve. I have judged and coached students as young as middle school aged children on public speaking.

I have been in the work force since graduating college in 2005 from the University of Texas in Arlington with a degree that focused on Business, Communication, and Biology. I have held jobs in sales, recruiting, insurance, and worked with school districts while judging debate tournaments.

I want us to work together to get you to the finish line. I will take into account your questions or concerns as well as pick up on strengths and weaknesses to evaluate how it is best to teach you. I enjoy constructive criticism and believe we can grow together. I hope to hear from you soon!
