Hi! My name is Jinni. I graduated from Plano West Senior High with a 4.3 GPA, as well as National Merit and 15 AP credits. During my time there, I tutored my fellow students and played literature for our school Quizbowl (trivia) team. I recently completed my freshman year at Texas A&M University as a biology major with a 3.9 GPA.
My passion and specialty is biology, particularly at the cellular and molecular level. I am able to tutor the subject at middle school, high school, and beginner college levels. I earned a 5 on the AP Biology exam and am very familiar with its test format. Biology is thought of as a memorization-heavy subject, but I believe it's also important to train critical thinking and be able to think biologically. This will enable you to tackle challenges in the future, whether it be the AP exam or a research paper. Some fun facts about me and my studies: My favorite topic within biology is metabolism! Over the course of my first college biology class, I answered 179/180 exam questions correctly. (I'm still a little mad about that last question.)
I can also be of assistance in subjects such as algebra, pre-calculus, calculus I, SAT reading, and chemistry. Furthermore, I am an excellent proofreader for grammar, readability, and overall effectiveness in any writing assignment.
