I am a student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Finance, and I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA across both programs. I’ve excelled in courses ranging from advanced mathematics and electrical engineering to financial accounting and Python programming. My academic background provides a strong foundation for tutoring in subjects such as circuit analysis, signals, digital systems, mathematics, and accounting. I was also selected as a Peer Teacher for a Python course, which is a role similar to an undergraduate TA and involved helping other students debug code and understand core programming concepts.
My tutoring experience spans both formal and informal settings, with a primary focus on working with high school students. I tutored high school physics, helped a special needs student prepare for the ACT, who later told me I was the first person who made math make sense to her, and worked one-on-one with a high school hockey player on math while I was a college freshman. Throughout my education, I have often found myself in the role of an informal tutor to my peers, explaining engineering and finance concepts in a way that reinforces my understanding while helping others succeed. I haven’t led large group sessions, but I take a one-on-one, concept-first approach that prioritizes clarity and practical understanding.
I enjoy teaching because it forces me to think deeply and communicate clearly. Whether it’s solving differential equations, analyzing electrical circuits, or working through accounting problems, I help students not just get the right answer, but understand the “why” behind it. I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything. My job as a tutor is to discover the student's unique learning style so that I can help them succeed.
