My focus is to provide students with the skills for excelling academically. I have two children who are currently teenagers. Their ages are nineteen and seventeen. My nineteen year old daughter is presently attending college. She has received grants and scholarships which were based on her ACT score and overall high school GPA. My seventeen year old son is currently attending high school; he is a junior. He is enrolled in honors' classes. I am extremely proud of both of them, and I definitely know that I can assist in helping other students achieve their short and long term academic goals. The short term goals would be to secure a strategic plan for improving grades such as establishing organizations skills, creating a better preparation with completing homework as well as daily in school assignments, and projects. My assistance with a student's long term goal is for them to receive a proficient score on their ACTs and overall grade point average. Most importantly, I want the students to receive respect, professionalism, and patience from me.
Volunteering is also essential to my life. I have volunteered at several schools from elementary, middle school, and high schools. Some of the elementary school names are Crump, Ross, and Hickory Hill Elementary. The middle schools are Hickory Hill Middle and Wooddale Middle. The high schools include Wooddale and Southwind High School. My volunteering duties consisted of being a teacher's assistance, running errands, and tutoring. I also have been an active volunteer with MIFA which stands for Metro Inter-Faith Association. My family and friends would deliver food to many senior citizens in various communities.
My experience includes my educational background. I received my Bachelor's Degree in the Interdisciplinary Studies.
