In 2021, I receive a STAR teacher award from Gaston County, NC public schools and last year evaluated/judged three middle schools wishing to attain STEM classification for NC DPI. STEM is a hands-on approach to learning. It ensures students can explain what they are learning with some type of product or collaboration with others.
This summer I was selected to attend training by NC State University called the Data Science Summer Institute 2025. So students, learning is life-long and once you get bitten by the "science" bug, it is a long term commitment to curiosity and finding out the "why" and being able to explain "how" you know what your know. I am ready to help you improve skills, learn something new or help prepare for a test. Please contact me and let's get started!
