Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

During the last 5 years--excuse the previous submission (misread the subject)--I have obtained a vast library of practice problems. I have tutored 4 students during the past year to face the ACT in a few different states. Three of the four passed with scores at least as high as they had hoped four; the fourth has yet to take the exam.
C++

C++

My school career began with my seeking a degree in information (computer) science, and I excelled in coursework including hardware, networking, and object oriented programming with C++. I completed an objected oriented programming project which employed Group Theory principles, classes, advance phase-space searching algorithms to convert any given unsolved state of a rubick's cube to the solved state by paths <= some given length... I can provide good strong help up to a certain level; as I indicate, I would qualify my expertise as not quite advanced, but well beyond introductory.
Calculus

Calculus

Math olympian ;) studied up through differential equations, linear algebra, chemical applications of group theory, some mathematical biophysics... but Calc I and II---I'm here to help you get it fast.
Chemistry

Chemistry

B.S. Chemistry minor in math Honors Reasearch ACS member decades experience teaching organic and general chemistry
Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

decades of carrying students in pharm, premed, nursing and other programs over the finish line in organic I and II.
Precalculus

Precalculus

Studied mathematics through differential equation, (obtained B.S. in Chemistry from U So Fla. with minor concentration in math; many decades of success teaching college freshman and upperclassmen, as well as high school students. Took part in Math Olympics, statewide competition; lectured on mathematic topics around the aerodynamics of insect flight at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Statistics

Statistics

Recently I have revewied through complementary coursework the standard course material in Stats I--including basic variable normalization, z- and t-score related calculations and interpretations, termination of z an t test values, and their interpretation; developing and testing null and research hypotheses, and building confidence intervals, for population means, sample means, and difference of sample means; using F-statistic for ANOVA analysis, and interpreting all the relevant parameters involved; creating chi square and using it to determine various hypothesis tests concerning data that are categorical proportion.

such a great tutor

Really took his time to help me understand what I need to know. Made sure I understood before we moved on. Even when I wasn’t correct would explain till I got it.

Wonderful tutor!

My son has been struggling with math. However, Jamie has made a significant improvement in his confidence and grades thanks to Jamie’s tutoring. He is also great with communication.
