I am a PA certified 7-12th math teacher. I have been teaching/tutoring since 2000. I currently teach mornings at a private Christian high school. I am 100% devoted to helping you. In between sessions, if you send me pictures of problems that you tried with work shown, I will write out an explanation, take a picture and message you back at no charge to you. I am a PA certified 7-12th math teacher. I have been teaching/tutoring since 2000. I currently teach mornings at a private Christian high school. I am 100% devoted to helping you. In between sessions, if you send me pictures of problems that you tried with work shown, I will write out an explanation, take a picture and message you back at no charge to you. I only charge for live online sessions on Wyzant whiteboard or zoom. My weekday Mon-Fri daytime (1pm to ending at 4pm eastern) rate is $20/hr. I charge $30/hour for any tutoring which starts after 4pm weekdays and all times on Saturday. I do not tutor Sunday unless I am not available Saturday. Please message me the exact day/start time ( list time zone) that you would like to meet online & I will confirm asap.
I work best with high school students or adults who struggle with math, but are self motivated & want to learn. To make the most out of tutoring, you should be prepared to show me the type of problems you need help with. If I ever do not earn a 5 out of 5 stars, please tell me within 1 day, then I will void the lesson so there is no charge to you. I do not use instant book since it charges you immediately and sometimes students do not use the entire hour. You only pay for the time you use even if it is less than an hour. I have helped many students prepare for the math portion of the Accuplacer test. I would first suggest that you do the practice problems so that I can see what skills we need to work on. Getting tutoring will help your math placement and therefore will save you time and money. Tutoring is my main income and I fully devoted to helping you !

I enjoy helping students gain a solid foundation in algebra. You will get the most out of tutoring if you show me what you have tried so that I can see where the confusion is.

If needed I can try to help with the non math sections. Please note that I best qualified to help with the Math reasoning and Arithmetic Reasoning sections of the ASVAB. My advice is to do as many math practice questions as you can before we meet so that I can see what you struggle most with. That way, I can see clearly from our first meeting how much work we need to do. Ask myself or your recruiter for the website or apps that will best help you prepare for the test. I am honored to help you on your journey to serve our country.
Geometry

I am interested in helping students who are taking notes, trying their homework and care about learning. I enjoy the visual Geometry problems that involve algebra. Proofs are the other aspect of Geometry. They are also important, so I will help your student think logically so that they understand the order in which they need to order their proof statements.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have been teaching Pre-Algebra since 2000. Pre-Algebra is an important stepping stone to lay a solid foundation for the rest of your students mathematics. I know what is involved in Alg1, 2 and beyond so I teach Pre-Algebra with the future in mind so that they can make the future connections. Students need repetition so encourage your student to do as many different typed of problems for the same skill so that they can experience all the aspects of that skill. I would visit websites that have interactive games to reinforce skills. Upon our first contact I will give you the names of websites I recommend.
