I have 11 years of experience teaching high school mathematics, working with students in courses ranging from Pre-Algebra to Precalculus. Over the years, I’ve supported students in traditional classroom settings as well as one-on-one environments. My teaching philosophy centers on helping students truly understand mathematics—not just memorize it. I focus on making math approachable and meaningful, tailoring instruction to each student's learning style and pace.
I love teaching because I love helping students connect with math, especially those who may have struggled with it in the past. I know that negative experiences in the classroom can shape a student's attitude toward math, and it’s incredibly rewarding to help rebuild their confidence and show them that they can succeed. Math is an essential skill in everyday life, and helping students grasp it not only improves their academic performance but empowers them in the real world.
