I've tutored for many years, mostly Algebra, middle-school and some early high-school math. My preferred method is to guide students through assignments, helping them when stuck, identifying areas to fix. I use a pen tablet. It's helpful, though not necessary, for the student to also have a writing tablet.

Chris helped my 8th grader with Algebra - within the first hour session he helped him understand what he was struggling with. My son was able to use the techniques Chris showed him and translate that into an A on his test over the subject matter.
