Greetings parents, my name is Mario D. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, which I earned at SUNY New Paltz. I am currently working on my adolescent education certification, specifically through a Master's Degree in Education. I just graduated from SUNY New Paltz this year. I have taken many upper division classes in mathematics, so I am very accustomed to working in more difficult math problems as well as studying math theory. I specifically excel in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and calculus. As a student in the SUNY New Paltz Education certification program, I am trained to instruct Common Core Mathematics, and Regents Exam Test Prep. I pride myself in my ability to identify each students' individual needs, and can quickly determine the most efficient instruction technique. I am a senior college student studying mathematics, currently working on my teaching certification. I am very familiar with the math topics covered on the ACT exam (prealgebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry) as well as the type of questions asked on the exam. I know how to solve problems in these topics fast and efficiently, and I can show efficient test taking skills. I have taught/tutored all of these subjects to students.

My Bachelor's Degree is in mathematics and I am currently working on education certification. As a mathematician, I am skilled in working with algebra problems as well as proving algebraic principles. I am experienced in teaching/tutoring students in algebra 1 concepts, specifically in the common core/regents curriculum.

I am quite proficient with calculus, and have taken calculus courses all the way through Calculus 3. I know how to consistently find limits, tangent lines, derivatives, and integrals. I also can analyze functions by using the first derivative to find critical points for relative/absolute extrema, as well as the second derivative test to determine concavity.

I know how to Row Reduce, find the inverse matrix, find a basis, find Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors, etc. I can show students all of the rules in working with matrices and find determinants as well. I am a senior college student studying mathematics, currently working on my teaching certification. Prealgebra is a course in which the students must master skills in arithmetic. They must learn how to use skills such as working with integers, using commutative, associative, distributive properties, working with radicals, using PEMDAS, laws of exponents, and solving simple equations. Since I am a college senior in mathematics, I have used these techniques countless times and I have all of these skills mastered. I am experienced in teaching/tutoring this subject matter to students.

Mario is a great tutor! I really learned so much from him. He is super patient and definitely knows his stuff. Math is the one subject that I struggle with and Mario understood that and did everything he could to help me. He was far better in teaching the concepts than the actual professor I had for the class. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a calc tutor!
