Hi, my name is Eli, and I am a senior in college majoring in Sociology and Social Work. I've been tutoring sociology and social sciences for a little over a year and have successfully helped several students with essays and understanding key concepts. I’ve taken several introductory and foundational sociology and humanities classes, so I have a broad understanding of general sociological and philosophical topics and concepts. I am versed in sociological theory and can explain core sociological theories, as well as discuss any historical context surrounding those theories. Additionally, I’ve done personal and academic research in several humanities subjects, so I can aid with any research needs or help explain any research methods. I’ve been able to maintain a 3.9+ GPA in the course of my college journey, excelling in humanities and social science classes. I have served as an editor for school publications and have several other writing and editing experiences in internships and through working with other students.

My tutoring experience has generally been held online. However, I always welcome tutoring in person. I can generally help out with any editing need or be of use in any social science college class like sociology or philosophy. I strive to meet every student where they are at.
