I hold a degree in Biology, and Education K-12 along with a standard NJ Teaching Cert, with a special education endorsement. My academic background from College of Saint Elizabeth has equipped me with a strong foundation in both subject knowledge and instructional strategies that I’ve applied throughout my teaching career.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students across various age groups and settings. My teaching journey began in the traditional classroom, where I taught elementary aged children full-time. In that setting, I developed a student-centered approach, focusing on differentiated instruction and interactive learning to engage students with different learning styles. I now currently teach high school, grades 9-12, in a variety of subject ranging from biology, chemistry, astronomy, AP Biology, AP Test prep, and Microbiology.
Outside of the classroom, I’ve also worked extensively as a tutor, both one-on-one and in small group settings. I’ve supported students from elementary through high school, tailoring my methods to fit their individual goals—whether that meant reinforcing foundational skills, preparing for standardized tests, or providing enrichment beyond the curriculum. I emphasize clarity, patience, and relationship-building in my tutoring sessions, always striving to build not just knowledge, but confidence.
In addition to formal teaching and tutoring, I’ve volunteered with local programs offering academic support to underserved communities. Those experiences have further reinforced my belief in the power of personalized instruction and the importance of meeting students where they are
