My tutoring style often relies on using relevant and real-life examples that are closely tied to the concepts and assignments. This helps you to more quickly internalize the information and begin to be constructive. I help to make sure you really understand what the professor or work assignment is requiring. Sometimes students start off by going down the wrong path, which creates more challenges and re-dos on multi-part projects. I believe in a hands-on approach to working through problems and drafts and my patience really helps with getting things right. I am very patient, easy going and have an empathetic approach. I’m easy to get a hold of should you have more questions or require follow-up support.

My business experience includes all types of marketing at both big and small companies. This includes creating marketing plans and leading the management of the full marketing mix for famous brands (as well as start-ups). I enthusiastically recommend Marc B. for coaching. My son was getting many interview opportunities with great companies like Disney, Lockheed Martin, and Siemens. When he wasn’t getting offers, he knew his resume was good enough to get interviews, but he wasn’t sure what he was doing wrong when interviewing. Since interviewers don’t usually give feedback, he asked for help. Marc B. was able to coach him and improve his confidence. After the first meeting, our son had an interview with Universal to intern for his dream job and immediately received an email asking for a second round interview. He met with Marc for coaching before the second and Marc took the time to look at the job description and my son’s resume to tailor the coaching. About a week after the second interview, my son was offered the position! Marc has a way of coaching people that improves their confidence and helps them showcase their skills.
