Sensei introduced the idea of verb auxiliaries. We looked at ways that dialect is shown in the book and how to guess at the standard spelling. I had fun trying to understand リナ from the clues so far. I was encouraged to get the meaning and move on without worrying too much about every detail of grammar. Those will come eventually.
