I will go over a new skill as many times as necessary to have complete success. The child’s confidence in that new skill is just as important. My favorite words are fabulous and fantastic!! I say them as often as I can to increase my student's self-esteem and confidence.

I have been a teacher and tutor for over 20 years and have specialized in primarily special elementary and middle school education. I teach math, reading, science, phonics, spelling, social studies, writing, geography, and language arts.
I have a degree in Special Education from the University of Maryland. I have taught via homeschool, in-person and classroom . I have taught students with Autism, ADHD and behavioral and emotional disorders. My most recent classroom assignment was teaching a class of 4th and 5th graders with ADHD, Autism, and emotional and behavioral disorders.
I am very flexible and open when it comes to scheduling with my clients and offer special rates for 2 or more hours per week. I am there to give 100% to my students to make sure that they reach their potential!
