Hello! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry in 2013. While in college, I worked several years at the Wellesley College Child Study Center, where I was first introduced to teaching at the preschool level, providing children with guidance to navigate play as well as social and behavioral challenges associated with their age group. During my years at Wellesley, I also worked as a teaching fellow within the Neuroscience Department, and as a grader within the Biology Department. Through these roles, I designed lessons, lectured, and organized outside-of-class review sessions for fellow college-level learners.
Following my graduation from college, I worked as a research assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where I studied the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension while I prepared to apply to MD/PhD programs. I now am enrolled in the MD/PhD Program at UMass Chan Medical School, where I have completed my first two years of medical training. In my spare time, I immensely enjoy serving as a substitute teacher at my local elementary school, where I have worked in classrooms of all grade levels K-6, as well as in a special education role.
I love teaching elementary education, writing skills, and chemistry (my favorite subject) and would be thrilled to assist you on your learning journey!
