I’ve been a teacher for over 15 years—11 of those being in middle school social studies—I’ve worked at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, building learning environments where students feel supported, confident, and even have a little fun!
My tutoring experience includes a wide variety of subjects and skills, including: AP Seminar, MTEL (Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure) History, MTEL Middle School Mathematics, MTEL ESL, Executive Functioning, Reading Comprehension, College Admission Essays, Study and Test-Taking Strategies, and Organization. I enjoy supporting learners of all ages and walks of life: from elementary students building foundational skills to college students preparing for high-stakes exams, and adult learners pursuing professional goals.
I approach each tutoring opportunity with the learner’s strengths, needs, and personality. Whether we’re analyzing historical documents, solving math problems, or organizing a study plan, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and support that fosters confidence and self-efficacy in my clients.
