I was born in Korea and came to the States for college. I got a bachelor's degree in Illustration and a master's degree in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
I obtained a teaching license in New York State and taught pre-K, kindergarten, elementary and high school students in both public and private school.

To help my sister keep her 9-yr daughter's week full and productive, I decided to hire an art teacher for online lessons. First I didn't know how art lessons could work virtually, but based on the finished products, I could see they had a productive class.
