Hi! My name is Grace :) I graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a degree in Human Service Studies and minors in Psychology, Leadership Studies, and Poverty and Social Justice. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Boston College with a focus in micro level work.

I have had an abundance of tutoring experience with young students, as I was a teacher’s aid at an elementary school in North Carolina, where I led small reading and math groups. Additionally, I have volunteered with two after school programs- the Boys and Girls Club and the Burlington Housing Authority, where I tutored young students one-on-one in a variety of subjects, whether it be reading, math, or writing!

I also have experience with college and job applications, which I’m excited to help students with! I recently applied to 7 graduate programs, and was accepted into 6. I was also selected to deliver the commencement speech to my graduating class with a speech that was selected by a committee of university administrators, peers, and professors! Furthermore, I have volunteer experience helping unhoused adults build their resumes and find job opportunities.

I’d love to guide students and adults through multiple phases of the job or college application process, such as resume building, writing a personal statement, and/or interviewing! I am also interested in working with younger students at the elementary level, whether that be building study skills or writing experience. Lastly, I played soccer for 11 years and if anyone wants to learn a few skills, I’d have fun with that too!
