Bio

Ever since I can remember as I was growing up, my teachers would ask me to help my peers with everything from math to reading. Today, I am a special education teacher in self-contained classroom. In addition, I have been a tutor at the university level for Spanish and study skills. I have taught Spanish to pre-school and kindergarten level students, and co-taught Algebra and High School English.

In addition, I have been a tutor at the university level for Spanish and study skills. I have taught Spanish to pre-school and kindergarten level students, and co-taught Algebra and High School English.

I was a licensed special education teacher in Indiana for K-12 students with learning and emotional disabilities. I have worked extensively helping students with study, organizational, social and life skills.

I have worked extensively with students K-12 with math all they way through Algebra 2.

I currently work as a Blind-Low Vision Specialist.

I am Orton-Gillingham certified. I have co-taught through English 12. I have written articles that have published and have worked for a newspaper, radio station and TV station.

I am a licensed special education teacher who LOVES helping students succeed in learning and life. The best moment of my day is when I see “the light go on” for one of my students.

I am a patient, enthusiastic teacher who loves learning. I enjoy being able to pass this onto my students.

Knowledgeable and Patient

It was a pleasure working with Terri this school year. Terri really made a connection with our 6th grader and helped bring up her grades from C and D’s to A and B’s. Thank you Terri for making 6th grade bearable!
