I spent the last 10 years in Denver, Colorado after graduating from Purdue in December of 2013. I earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Purdue University in Mathematics Education and Business Management. I've been tutoring since 2008 in pre-algebra through calculus, since right after I graduated high school. While attending Purdue I served as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the Mathematics department teaching College Algebra & Trigonometry. I also dedicated a lot of my time in the Math Tutor Room helping students in algebra and calculus preparing them for their midterm and final exams. I earned my Secondary Mathematics Teaching License from the state of Indiana and successfully completely my student-teaching practicum during the Fall of 2013 in Algebra I and II. I currently work as a middle school math teacher in Indianapolis Public Schools teaching high-ability and multi-lingual students. Failure is not an option in my classroom and in my sessions.
When I'm not tutoring in mathematics, I am a youth tennis instructor. I've been teaching tennis since 2007 and have been to the University of Illinois instructing over 1,000 athletes in a summer. I volunteered a lot of my time at Lafayette Jefferson High School in Indiana increasing students' tennis IQ and physical skills.
